Faculty Leader

Xiaolin Shi, Ph.D.

Associate Teaching Professor of Economics

Northeastern University

Xiaolin Shi is an Associate Teaching Professor of Economics and Director of the Master of Science in Economics program at Northeastern University.

 

Professor Shi specializes in applied econometrics and data-driven analysis, with a strong focus on connecting economic theory to real-world practice. Through experiential learning and global programs, she helps students build practical skills and achieve strong career outcomes in data, consulting, and finance.

Brittany Harris

Associate Director, Faculty-Lead Program

Northeastern University

Brittany Harris is the Associate Director of Faculty-Led Programs at Northeastern University, where she oversees the development and execution of global experiential learning programs.

 

Brittany works closely with faculty and partners to ensure programs meet institutional policies and international compliance requirements while maintaining high academic standards. Her work supports students in gaining safe, well-structured, and meaningful global learning experiences.

Program Assistant

Santiago Del Moral

Master Student at Northeastern University

Santiago is a Venezuelan-American completing his MS in Economics at Northeastern University, where he also earned his BS in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

 

Santiago's experiences range from a solar energy co-op to work with the Institute for Economics and Peace in Sydney and the UN in Geneva. As Program Assistant for the Dialogue, Santiago will support students throughout the program, helping with logistics, cultural navigation, and creating a welcoming environment in China.

Sharon Jiang

Managing Director

Sharon has a BS in Statistics from Chongqing University of Technology and a MA in Comparative International Development Education from the University of Minnesota.

 

Sharon is passionate about working with international educators and customizing programs based on different topics and fields for students.
